The global coalition Secure The Spectrum was created in 2018 to position the benefits of satellite communication and sensitize public policymakers the need to preserve the radio spectrum assigned to satellites, the 28 GHz band. 

At Ventura Comunicaciones, we developed a General Public Affairs Program to position Secure The Spectrum Chapter Mexico as a key player in the telecommunications sector and participate in the debate on public policies related to the efficient use of the radio spectrum, economic competition and investments promotions.

Satellite communication is a viable option for fast, cheap, and secure broadband in urban and rural areas, where connectivity is poor or does not exist due to geographic conditions; and an alternative in telecommunications projects involving public-private participation. 

The efficient use of radio spectrum destined for satellites is a strategic issue on the Mexican public agenda.
